What’s new

Veterans Go Rockclimbing, Kayaking, and to a UCLA Soccer Game

In an activity-filled month, veterans went rockclimbing at the UCLA Wooden Center, kayaking in Marina Del Ray, and watched UCLA and Oregon State go toe-to-toe in Women’s Soccer. UCLA trounced the beavers 6-0. As always, we had some good food and conversation!

Resources

Information to help facilitate access to a comprehensive range of services and benefits available to California’s veterans and their families. These include disability claims, education and the GI Bill, employment, healthcare, housing, advocacy, mental and emotional well-being, legal services and more.

UCLA Center of Excellence

The mission of the UCLA/VA Center of Excellence (COE) is to improve the health and social outcomes of Veterans who are homeless and have complex needs, including mental health disorders, acute and chronic health problems, and substance use disorders.

UCLA Veteran Family Wellbeing Center

The Veteran Family Wellbeing Center (VFWC) provides a range of wellbeing services, including individual, couple, and family resilience programming, events and workshops, and quality referrals to mental healthcare and other resources.

UCLA Law Veterans Legal Clinic

The UCLA School of Law Veterans Legal Clinic seeks to address the unmet legal needs of veterans, particularly those staying or accessing services at the West LA VA medical Center and develop the practical skills of law students while enhancing their knowledge of, and appreciation for, the issues facing our former military service members.
